We’d love you to join us for a fun-filled full-day activity supporting Defence young people to build confidence, connection, and enjoy a range of outdoor experiences together.

Reply within 48 hours - Confirm your spot
Complete the Confirmation Form within 7 days
✅ Your place is confirmed once the form is submitted
⚠️ If the form isn’t returned, your spot may be offered to another volunteer
🔒 Spots are limited and will close when full
📌 EOIs are reviewed as they are received. You will be contacted to confirm if you have a place or are on the Backup List.
👥 On the Day
• Short, friendly briefing before young people arrive
• Meet the team and go through the plan together
• Rotate through activities as a group
• Ongoing support from AKKF staff throughout the day
🧩 What We Will Do
• Explore the giant maze
• Play mini golf
• Enjoy the train ride
• Visit and interact with farm animals
• Mental Health Education and group reflection
This helps young people build confidence, connection, teamwork, and positive shared experiences.
🤝 Your Role
• Welcome and support young people
• Help them feel safe, included, and comfortable
• Encourage participation across all activities
• Support transitions between activity areas
• Assist with breaks and group movement
• Join conversations and support connection
• Always supervise with another adult
🛡️ Safety
• Your WWCC must be valid and verified
• All onboarding must be complete before attending
You may notice:
• Outdoor environments and walking between activities
• Interaction with animals
• Busy activity areas with other visitors
AKKF provides:
• Supportive staff at all times
• First Aid-trained team members
• Two-adult supervision
• Pre-event volunteer briefing
