👥 On the Day
• Arrival and welcome at the Inflatable Fun Park
• Short, friendly briefing before young people arrive
• High-energy morning and afternoon activities
• Bus travel to Phillip Island in the afternoon
• Evening Penguin Parade experience
• Return to Dandenong at approximately 10:30 PM
• Ongoing support from AKKF staff throughout the day
🧩 What We Will Do
• Jump, climb, and race through inflatable obstacle courses
• Team challenges and group connection activities
• Travel together to Phillip Island
• Watch the Penguin Parade at sunset
• Group reflection and wellbeing conversations
This helps young people build confidence, resilience, teamwork, and meaningful connection through both active play and nature-based experiences.
🤝 Your Role
• Welcome and support young people
• Help them feel safe, included, and comfortable
• Encourage participation (no pressure)
• Support teamwork and positive peer interactions
• Assist with transitions and bus travel
• Help supervise during the Penguin Parade experience
• Facilitate group connection and reflection activities
• Help maintain a calm, supportive environment
• Always supervise with another adult
🛡️ Safety
• Your WWCC must be valid and verified
• All onboarding must be complete before attending
You may notice:
• High-energy indoor play environments
• Bus travel and transitions between locations
• Cold outdoor coastal conditions in the evening
• Young people with varying comfort levels
AKKF provides:
• Supportive staff at all times
• First Aid-trained team members
• Two-adult supervision
• Pre-event volunteer briefing
🔒 Full program details are shared with confirmed volunteers only in line with safeguarding practices.

This is a full-day program, and we ask volunteers to commit to the entire experience.
If you accept a spot, we’ll be counting on you to attend.
If something changes, please let us know as soon as possible.

🚗 Travel
Please travel directly to the starting location in Dandenong.
🚌 Bus travel to Phillip Island and return is included as part of the program.
If getting there is difficult, let us know — we’re happy to talk through options with you.
👕 What to Bring
For Inflatable Park:
• Runners (no Crocs)
• Grip socks
• Comfortable active clothing
• No jewellery
For Penguin Parade:
• Warm layers
• Parka or warm jacket
• Beanie
Other Essentials:
• Water bottle
• Hat
• Any required medication
🍽 Meals will be provided throughout the day (please let us know any dietary needs)
