We’d love you to join us for a high-energy day supporting young people as they jump, climb, slide, and race through giant dinosaur-themed inflatables.

⚠️ If the form isn’t returned, your spot may be offered to another volunteer

📌 EOIs are reviewed as they are received. You will be contacted to confirm if you have a place or are on the Backup List.
👥 On the Day
• Short, friendly briefing before young people arrive
• Meet the team and go through the plan together
• Ongoing support from AKKF staff throughout the day
• Structured schedule including activities, breaks, and connection time
🧩 What We Will Do
• Jump, climb, and slide through inflatable obstacle courses
• Group challenges and team-based activities
• Social connection and shared experiences
• Wellbeing and reflection moments
This helps young people build confidence, resilience, teamwork, and positive connection.
🤝 Your Role
• Welcome and support young people
• Help them feel safe, included, and comfortable
• Encourage participation (no pressure)
• Support teamwork and positive peer interactions
• Assist with transitions, breaks, and hydration
• Help supervise activity areas
• Support group connection activities
• Always supervise with another adult
🛡️ Safety
• Your WWCC must be valid and verified
• All onboarding must be complete before attending
You may notice:
• Active indoor play environments
• Running, jumping, and climbing activities
• Noise and high-energy group dynamics
• Young people needing encouragement or reassurance
AKKF provides:
• Supportive staff at all times
• First Aid-trained team members
• Two-adult supervision
• Pre-event volunteer briefing
🔒 Full program details are shared with confirmed volunteers only in line with safeguarding practices.

🚗 Travel
Please travel directly to the venue.
🚌 Optional Bus Connection:
Volunteers may have the option to join the bus travelling to the Penguin Parade after the activity (limited spots).
If getting there is difficult, let us know — we’re happy to talk through options with you.

• Runners (no Crocs)
• Grip socks
• Warm, comfortable clothing
• Hat
• Water bottle
⚠️ No jewellery during activities for safety reasons
Food may be provided (please let us know any dietary needs)
