Louisville Parks and Recreation

Learn how to prune trees for structure, health, and clearance. We will work together to care for some neighborhood street trees. Under supervision, volunteers will use hand tools like saws, pruning shears, and loppers to trim trees. Afterwards, volunteers can join us for a casual bite of sip at a local business.

All tools will be provided by Urban Forestry.

Qualifications: Ability to work outside, operate hand tools, and navigate sidewalk and grassy surfaces for up to 2 hours. No prior experience needed. Ages under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
