Job Title: Veterinary Assistant Volunteer
Reports to: Lead CVT
Summary: The Veterinary Assistant Volunteer position would support the medical team by performing tasks related to medical and surgical care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cleaning medical instruments
- Cleaning cat cages
- Wrapping surgical packs
- Opening and labeling syringes
- Other duties based on previous training and/or experience

Maintain a professional relationship with all other volunteers and staff
Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum of 18 years of age

Must have reliable transportation

Must have access to internet and an email account
Training, Schedule, and Commitment:

6-month minimum time commitment overall (not consecutive)

This position allows for a more flexible schedule, with surgical and medical needs based on the population of cats we have at any given time
