Welcome to the Foster Grandparent Program. Shape a child’s life as a mentor or tutor. Help students develop literacy and math skills and be a positive adult role model. Volunteers serve 20 hours a week in a local school or daycare classroom.
In addition to the other AmeriCorps benefits, the Foster Grandparent Program offers modest stipends to income eligible volunteers to help offset the costs of volunteering.
