Morris County Park System

Keepers perform general maintenance on specific trails within the park system. Volunteers are responsible for performing general maintenance on the trail corridor, trail tread, and trail structures. Report trail hazards and trail issues that are beyond their ability. Duties include: Pruning and brushing along the trail corridor, drainage inspections, clearing and construction on the trail tread, structure inspections, clearing and reporting, signage and kiosk inspections and reporting, bench inspections and reporting, and hazard reporting.

Training will be provided - basic safety, trail courtesy, Leave No Trace Principles, trail maintenance, tool safety, and reporting.

One year term renewable upon recommendation of the Trail Superintendent.
