Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is one of fifteen National Trust of Australia (Queensland) properties dedicated to protecting Queensland’s natural, cultural and Indigenous heritage through conservation and education.

Home to more than 1,000 mammals, birds and reptiles, the Sanctuary supports a range of conservation projects focused on protecting wildlife and preserving these species for future generations.

Our volunteers are at the heart of this work. By helping guests feel welcome, informed and connected during their visit, Park Volunteers play a vital role in both the day-to-day operation of the Sanctuary and in supporting our broader conservation mission.

We’re looking for people who enjoy working with others, are confident engaging with the public, love animals and care about creating positive experiences for every guest who walks through our gates.
