Wetaskiwin Hospital and Care Centre

Dogs and their owners attend specific units or departments, providing a visiting opportunity to lift stress and improve mood for our patients, residents, and staff members.  Yearly statements of good health and proper immunization are required for the pet.  A behaviour assessment is required prior to start.

Shifts are flexible depending on the availability of the volunteers and the best timing for the unit or department involved.
