Help improve care and services at Mercy Health
Delivery of compassionate care to our communities
Anyone can join the Mercy Health Consumer Advisor Register.
You might be a current or former patient, resident or client. You may also be a family member, friend, carer, or a member of the local community.
We value your insights and experiences.
Why Consumer Advisors matter
Consumer Advisors play an important role in shaping our care and services. By bringing diverse perspectives, they help us better understand what we do well and where we can improve.
We partner with consumers to guide the planning, delivery and evaluation of our care and services.
This partnership helps us to:
• create the best possible experience for each individual
• deliver safe, collaborative and responsive care
• better understand and meet the needs of the people and communities we serve
Best of all, you can choose to participate in person or remotely and decide how much time you’re able to commit.
A warm welcome
We welcome people of all ages, backgrounds, experiences, and abilities.
We are committed to inclusion and warmly encourage participation from people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and those from diverse cultural, linguistic or faith backgrounds.
Please note all Consumer Advisors will have to undergo an onboarding process including a National Police Check prior to commencing in this volunteer role.
