Join the City Park Stewards: make a difference while getting your hands dirty

Join us at MacLeod Park for an invasive plant pull!🌿

Help restore MacLeod Park by removing invasive plants--another park that we have been to before! It’s a great way to connect with nature, meet new people, and make a positive impact on the local ecosystem. As always, we will be providing coffee, hot chocolate, and some light sweet treats to keep you all fueled.

📅 Date: Saturday, February 21st, 2026
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Location: MacLeod Park 

🔹 Meeting Point: End of the laneway off Mackay Avenue, just north of W 19th Street. Click HERE for location. There are also several nearby bus stops.

On the day, please remember to: 

• Wear closed-toe sturdy shoes: Preferably with ankle protection
• Dress for the weather: If rainy, dress in layers and appropriate rain gear.
• Bring your own gloves: We have extras if you don’t have a pair.
• Bring a water bottle & mug: Please try to bring your own if you have one. Light refreshments will be provided.
