Emergency Food Pantry - Monday Food Pantry
At the Salvation Army of Oak Creek, in partnership with Hunger Task Force, we provide a free 3-5 day emergency supply of food for those in need in our service area.
Currently seeking regular volunteers for the 1st Monday of every month, pantry hours 1 pm to 5pm.
Our food pantry volunteers assist by:
- Sorting donated goods
- Checking in guests
- Receiving and delivering donated goods
- Walking alongside guests as they choose their grocery items
The following conditions apply:
Monthly participation
Background check is required
Minimum age is 18
10 lb lifting
Qualifications Required
- Background Check
- Safe From Harm Training Must be at least Basic: Modules 1 - 4
