Emergency Food Pantry - Food Pantry Stocking
At the Salvation Army of Oak Creek, in partnership with Hunger Task Force, we provide a free 3-5 day emergency supply of food for those in need in our service area.
Currently seeking regular volunteers for the Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11am to 1pm.
Our food pantry volunteers assist by:
- Stocking food pantry shelves with food from over flow room or from the pallets that still need to go out
- Organizing the foo in the overflow room
- Supporting with the Food Pantry as needed
- Communicating with the pantry team about what is needed on the shelves
The following conditions apply:
Consistent participation either Wednesday, Thursday or both days
Background check is required
Minimum age is 18
10 lb lifting
