Volunteer Movement and Dance Buddy
Location: Worcester, Worcestershire, England
Do you love music and dance?
Would you like to join us and have fun with the people we support?
We are looking for a friendly volunteer who can lead a session of dance, aerobics or exercise, and enjoy moving to music together!
Activities will include:
- Sharing your time with people we support and leading a group session of movement to music. This can be dancing, aerobics or other ideas you would like to bring along!
- Demonstrating dance moves and encouraging people to join in
- Chatting away and building friendships
We are looking for volunteers who are:
- Confident to lead a group and dance freely (any level of skill is welcome)
- Enthusiastic with a passion for dance and movement
- Happy to take requests and share ideas
- Comfortable chatting with people with learning disabilities and autism
- Reliable and willing to volunteer regularly (days/times to be agreed)
A DBS check and two character references will be required for this role.
