Visitor Experience Volunteer
Are you a real people-person?
Every week, we welcome hundreds of visitors to our gallery. As a Visitor Experience Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day running of Modern Art Oxford, ensuring that every visit is a positive and meaningful experience.
Key Tasks:

Welcome visitors to Modern Art Oxford.

Give general information to visitors (e.g. opening hours, exhibition dates, programme of events, location of toilets and other facilities).

Invigilate the Ground Floor Gallery.
- Develop and deliver ‘Volunteer Highlights’ tours of the Upper Galleries.

Promote events, workshops, and classes at Modern Art Oxford.

Encourage visitors to explore the digital archive on the computer in the Social Space.

Encourage visitors to complete feedback surveys.

Assist with tidying and restocking the gift shop.
This is a casual role. You can choose when and how often you volunteer, depending on available shifts.
