Build Team and Community by Volunteering at the Zoo

Group volunteering is an excellent way to build team and community among your workforce, athletic team, or community organization.  The Friends of the Rosamond Gifford Zoo welcomes community groups to volunteer at the Zoo on an as needed basis with at least three weeks notice.

Please note that we cannot guarantee we will have a need for your group or team - depending on the time of the year and projects available. Group size is dependent on tasks at hand and can be as small as 5 and as large as 35.  Group volunteers must meet our volunteer age requirements of 14 and older with a parent/guardian on premises.

We are exceedingly grateful for the MANY teams of volunteers who have completed their community service at the Zoo over the years.
