Friends of the Rosamond Gifford Zoo

Celebrate Penguin Palooza and our Humboldt Penguins by volunteering as an Ice Cream Server.  Volunteers will:

• Help with Set up of ice cream stations (am)
• Scoop & Hand out ice cream to guests
• Collect Ice Cream Tickets
• Monitor ice cream line
• Help break down station and return any ice cream/ utensils to catering (pm)

This position requires standing for long periods of time, some light lifting and scooping ice cream.  This is a public facing position with heavy zoo guest interaction.  Please wear your red volunteer shirt / nametag (or a red top), and comfortable footwear.  

ONLINE TRAINING:  If you have not already-please sign up and complete the online Catering Food Service / Sanitation Training under the TRAINING category. This is an important but short review of catering sanitation standards.  This training should only take up to15 minutes to complete.
