Friends of the Rosamond Gifford Zoo

We are fortunate to have a vendor that provides free saplings to Zoo guests during Party for the Planet. The volunteer will assist the vendor with any and all need regarding this activity, including:    

• Hand out saplings and seed packets to guest.
• Keep saplings watered and healthy
• Give instructions on planting

This is a public facing position requiring extensive guest / vendor interaction. This position may require lifting and carrying items for the vendor.  Please wear your red volunteer shirt - or a red shirt as well as comfortable footwear, suitable for walking and light physical activity.
