Friends of the Rosamond Gifford Zoo

Volunteer with Breakfast with the Bunny and assist the catering team in putting on an enjoyable event for all RGZ guests! Duties not limited to, but mainly include: 

• Clearing tables of empty plates/cups/silverware/garbage throughout the meals
• Spot sweeping the Banquet Room and Mezzanine 
• Resetting the room between seatings: straightening chairs & tables, replacing any dirty table linens and decor
• Assist any guests who ask for assistance  - ie: carrying their items from buffet to table, direct them to restrooms, get additional napkins, etc
• Volunteers should be at least 16 years old for this position
• Please note that you may be reassigned on the day based on what spaces need to be filled

This is a physically active position requiring significant standing, walking, stretching and bending, and lifting/carrying items up to 10 pounds.  It is also a public facing position with quest interaction.  Please wear your red volunteer shirt / name tag (or a nice red shirt), closed-toed shoes (slip-proof preferred), and long pants.  Themed appropriate accessories (ie:  bunny ears) allowed at the discretion of the catering team.  

ONLINE TRAINING:  If you have not already-please sign up and complete the online Catering Food Service / Sanitation Training under the TRAINING category. This is an important but short review of catering sanitation standards.  This training should only take up to15 minutes to complete.
