FOR EDUCATION APPROVED VOLUNTEERS ONLY

Kids Night Out:  Drop your kids off at the zoo to party like an animal!  Kids will enjoy pizza upon arrival; meet animals up close, tour the zoo after hours, make crafts and play games throughout the night.  This event is after zoo hours: 5:30 - 8:30 pm. 

Volunteers will assist the Education Team with the following tasks:  

• Supervising children
• Helping with games, activities and crafts
• Cleaning
• Organizing and putting away crafts and games

This is a public facing position and all volunteers must be approved education program volunteers.  This activity will require modest physical activity, and interacting with children of a variety of ages.  Volunteers should wear their RED Volunteer shirt and name tag.

To Become an Education Approved Volunteer, volunteers must: 

• complete volunteer orientation
• complete a minimum of 20 hours of general / event volunteer service 
• have a signed standard waiver form on file
• complete and pass a background check 
• complete any other specified training as required by education (per activity)
