FOR EDUCATION APPROVED VOLUNTEERS ONLY

Kids Night Out:  Drop your kids off at the zoo to party like an animal!  Kids will enjoy pizza upon arrival, explore the zoo after hours, make crafts and play games throughout the night.  This event is after zoo hours: 5:30 - 8:30 pm. 

Please when you arrive text (315) 414-7406 if you need someone to let you in.

Volunteers will assist the Education Team with the following tasks:  

• Supervising children
• Help Serving Pizza
• Helping with games, guiding tours, activities and crafts
• Cleaning
• Organizing and putting away crafts and games

This is a public facing position and all volunteers must be approved education program volunteers.  This activity will require modest physical activity and interacting with children of a variety of ages.  Volunteers should wear their RED Volunteer shirt and name tag.

To Become an Education Approved Volunteer, volunteers must: 

• complete volunteer orientation
• complete a minimum of 20 hours of general / event volunteer service 
• have a signed standard waiver form on file
• complete and pass a background check 
• complete any other specified training as required by education (per activity)
