Friends of the Rosamond Gifford Zoo

Help the Rosamond Gifford Zoo celebrate EARTH DAY by participating in our EARTH DAY CLEAN UP!  Volunteers will assist with a variety of projects throughout the zoo.   Projects and tasks may include: 

• Pick up trash from around the zoo
• Rack leaves and bring to compost
• Pull weeds from gardens and fences
• Assist with other zoo maintenance projects as needed (painting, cleaning, etc) 

Earth Day Clean Up generally requires consistent moderate physical activity.  We can assign less rigorous activities to volunteers needing accommodations upon request, including light office work, stuffing envelopes, etc.  A Pizza lunch will be provided from 12:30 - 2.
