Brew at the Zoo - Brew at the Zoo- Pourer / Tear Down Assistance
Serve at the heart of the Brew at the Zoo Event as a beverage pourer! Enjoy heavy guest interaction, by covering a pouring station (55+ stations located throughout the zoo!). And then stay a bit later to help us with tear down and getting the Zoo back in order for the next day! Tear down includes getting tents, tables, left over beverages, event signage, station items and empty boxes all brought in and put away.
Pouring Duties include:
- Greet guests and find out which beverage they want to taste (you may have multiple choices)
- Mark punch cards of guests
- Pour beer, wine or carbonated beverage into brew cups
- Only pour up to designated line for beverage option
- Assist in take down of station at end of shift under the direction of your station captain.
- Report any needs or concerns to your station captain
This is a public facing position with heavy guest interaction. A volunteer Brew T-shirt will be provided. While chairs are provided, standing throughout the shift is common, please wear comfortable clothing and footwear.
TEAR DOWN: The more help we have with tear down - the quicker it goes! Many hands makes light work. We hope to be out of here 9:30 pm - at the very latest! And we would really love the extra help if you can stay just a bit later!!
Please also Register for and plan to attend the Brew Orientation Meeting / Training / T-Shirt pick up. The date will be set by April.
