Usher
Our ushers are the first point of contact for guests as they enter the building, so play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere at The Cultch. No experience is required as we provide you with full training, but previous ushering or customer service experience is always an asset.
As an usher at The Cultch you greet patrons, respond to inquiries, prepare venue materials, distribute programs and help with seating for each show within our two performance spaces: the Historic Theatre and the VanCity Culture Lab. Ushers may also work at our new performance space, The York Theatre upon completion of a separate training course.
Ushers must be a minimum of 16 years old, have a good working knowledge of English and be able to commit to at least 1 shift per month.
