Volunteer Opportunities
Duty Manager
Overseeing all Front of House staff during an event/performance. Will be required to take First Aid and Fire Marshall training.
Box Office Assistant
Answering in-person, telephone and online queries about booking tickets for performances/events. The Box Office is open Monday-Saturday, 10:30am-1pm. Box Office assistants may also be required during performances.
Bar Volunteer
Member of the volunteer Bar team, operating the bar and using payment machines.
Mission Statement
MISSION
- Advance education among the inhabitants of the area of benefit (Warminster and surrounding area), and
- In the interests of social welfare, to improve the conditions of life of the inhabitants of the area of benefit without distention of political, religious or other opinions by provision and maintenance of a centre for the community for the use by the inhabitants, including use for:
- Meetings, lectures and classes, and
- Other forms of recreational and leisure-time occupation; and
- To further any other charitable purpose for the general benefit of the inhabitants of the area of benefit.
- To welcome visitors to the town, since a vibrant, well-funded and well-used venue providing education, entertainment and social welfare is of material benefit to residents. We do this through:
- Dance classes and piano lessons.
- Resident theatre groups, touring shows and film society
- Foodbank and Chat Café’s offering friendship, cancer support and grief support
- Visitor and resident information centre for local educational, social and charitable events
