Cultural Mentoring
Cultural Mentoring is an opportunity to provide support to newly arrived refugee families. This program is a cultural exchange that will help families to adjust to their new home, learn about their new city, and develop English, job and basic life skills. We ask for a six month commitment and four hours per person per month. Cultural Mentors are put into teams of at least four people that work with one family. this can be a team you form, or we can place you on a team with other individuals. All team members will be required to attend a linkage meeting to meet the new refugee(s) and to go over guidelines.
