Assist with Our Emergency Accommodation Facility - Wishlist Centre

Wishlist Centre is Australia’s first facility to offer patient accommodation, primary healthcare and complementary therapies under one roof. The facility provides a relaxing ‘home away from home’ for those experiencing a health crisis.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic, motivated, caring volunteers who will be essential to help run the facility. As a volunteer, you will provide high-quality guest services and general support for the overall operation of Wishlist Centre.

We require volunteers to assist with various tasks which include:

  • Gardening
  • Driving
  • Guest Services

We can offer you a rewarding role and help you gain new skills whilst meeting new people within a friendly organisation that values the contribution of its volunteers.

Reed House

Assist with Our Emergency Accommodation Facility - Reed House

Reed House is Wishlist's emergency accommodation facility located in Nambour. This facility is open to patients, carers, and immediate family members whilst their loved one is undergoing treatment at Nambour, Selangor, Caloundra, and the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

We are currently seeking volunteers to assist with various tasks which include:

  • Reception and customer service
  • Administration
  • Gardening
  • Driving
  • Guest Services

No experience is required and training will be provided.

We can offer you a rewarding role, gaining new skills whilst meeting new people within a friendly organisation that values the contribution of our volunteers.

Wishlist Coffee House – Gympie

Volunteer at Wishlist Coffee House - Gympie

Wishlist is looking for volunteers to help at the Coffee House at Gympie.

Wishlist Coffee House Proudly supports Gympie Hospital to benefit patients and families.

We are currently seeking volunteers to assist with various tasks, which include: 

  • Customer service
  • Food preparation
  • Clean up duties
  • Coffee making (barista training will be provided)

Local families have the benefit of state-of-the-art equipment being donated to the hospital. Volunteers know they're contributing time to an initiative that keeps on giving to their community in such an amazing way.

Gympie Coffee House is open Monday-Friday from 8 am - 3 pm

 

Wishlist Coffee House – Nambour

Volunteer at Wishlist Coffee House - Nambour

Wishlist is looking for volunteers for our Nambour Coffee House, which is located within Nambour General Hospital.

Wishlist Coffee House Proudly supports Nambour Hospital for the benefit of patients and families.

We are currently seeking volunteers to assist with various tasks, which include: 

  • Customer service
  • Food preparation
  • Clean up duties
  • Coffee making (barista training will be provided)

Our cafes provide tasty, healthy snacks and meal options for staff, patients and visitors and generate revenue for the hospital's needs.

We need volunteers to help us run the cafes and be the smiling face behind the counter, helping with all aspects where needed.

Wishlist House

Assist with our Emergency Accommodation Facility - Wishlist House

Wishlist House (also known as The House The Coast Built) is a six-bedroom house located in Birtinya providing affordable accommodation close to Sunshine Coast University Hospital. Hours include 9am-11am and are flexible.

We are currently seeking volunteers to assist with various tasks which include:

Events Volunteering

Wishlist hosts a range of events throughout the year including:

Volunteers may be required to assist in various ways such as the set up and pack down of the events and providing support during the event.

Patient Shuttle Drivers

Become a Patient Shuttle Driver

 

Reed House is a 12-unit affordable accommodation facility located next to Nambour Hospital. Patients staying at Reed House have access to a free shuttle service to and from Sunshine Coast public hospitals. Flexible shifts available.

We are currently seeking volunteers to assist with various tasks which include: 

  • Transporting guests to their medical appointments
  • Assisting patients to and from Sunshine Coast hospitals
  • Driving patients in safe manner
  • Regular care of the vehicle; cleaning, fuel and minor mechanical
