Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl® Volunteer Opportunities




Help defy cancer with every scoop as a volunteer at Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl® presented by Herb Chambers—now back in Boston at City Hall Plaza on June 4-6. Make a difference for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute patients while enjoying a fun day with the Jimmy Fund community.  All volunteers will receive a Scooper Crew T-shirt and free all-you-can-eat ice cream after your shift! All volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Sign up by May 6 to secure your shift today!


Follow these steps to complete your volunteer registration:

1) Login or select the Fill in an application button to create a volunteer profile.  

2) Once your application is submitted, follow prompts to view and select your shifts.  

3) You will receive an email confirming your online registration immediately after registering. An additional email with final details regarding your volunteer shift will be sent before June 4.

Thursday, June 6, With Scoop at Night

Shift 1: 11:30 - 2:30 PM

The Jimmy Fund solely supports Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, raising funds for adult and pediatric cancer care and research to improve the chances of survival for cancer patients around the world. Since its founding in 1948, the Jimmy Fund has raised millions of dollars through thousands of community fundraising events.
