Client Engagement Volunteer (CEV)

 

Be the first friendly face our clients see when they come into the building!  We are looking for enthusiastic, outgoing, detailed-oriented volunteers to assist the Adoption Counseling staff.  Duties include greeting visitors to the facility, helping potential adopters sign in to meet with an adoption counselor, answering questions, and directing guests in the shelter.  Need to be able to multitask!  Adoption Greeters must be 16 years old to apply.

 

Required Training  

  • Meet & Greet with Volunteer Coordinator 
  • Volunteer Handbook & Waivers – Online Training
  • People Centered Philosophy – Online Training
  • 2 Greeter Training sessions with staff and/or volunteers

 

Client Engagement Volunteer Open Shifts:

  • Monday: 1pm-3pm; 3pm-5pm
  • Tuesday: 1pm-3pm; 3pm-5pm
  • Wednesday: 1pm-3pm; 3pm-5pm
  • Friday: 1pm-3pm; 3pm-5pm
  • Saturday: 1pm-3pm; 3pm-5pm
