Open Shifts: Let us know your availability! Give us a day and timeframe that works best for you.
- Campus-to-Campus – Shifts are typically 3-4 hours long depending on the campus-to-campus route. Shifts vary based on need – times may vary, generally from morning to early afternoon. Highest need is Door County Campus to Green Bay Campus and back.
- Campus Calibration – Every Wednesday and Friday our five shelter locations move equipment and animals between campuses. Our volunteers drive between all locations; a 6–8-hour shift; typically departing mid-morning.
- Out-of-State Transport – These volunteers meet partners within a 4–5-hour radius of Milwaukee; a 10-hour shift. Our common meeting places are Effingham, IL, Springfield, IL, and Indianapolis, IN. These are daylong volunteer opportunities that impact the lives of thousands of animals! Transport days are typically Tuesdays and Thursdays.
