General Description
Help teach our young anglers how to cast a line at this fun outdoor game. No live touching of fish or use of real hooks, so accessible for any interest. No prior casting experience is helpful but in now way necessary. Dress for the weather, you’ll be outside in full sun. Lunch will be provided with vegetarian and gluten free options available.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist and teach anglers of different ages how to cast a line in this interactive game
- Assist county staff as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 16 or older (15 and under can volunteer with an adult)
- Event will be outside
- Must enjoy working with people, especially children
- Experience with fishing, especially casting a line, is required
- Experience with teaching kids in a safe and friendly manner
Minimum Time Commitment
4.5 hours
Activity Level
Active - This activity includes lots of movement and long periods of standing, kneeling and bending over. Due to space limitations, we will not be able to supply/allow chairs for sitting at this station. Experience with working with kids is a must.
