We are excited that you are interested in getting involved with our organization! Volunteers are essential to the work we do and make a great difference in the lives of our refugee clients!
US Together was founded in Columbus in 2003 by former refugees; five years later our Cleveland office opened its doors. Since then, we have helped our clients in four areas of integration; social, economic, civic, and linguistic.
Every day we equip our clients with the skills to navigate U.S. systems that were previously unfamiliar to them. These include the job market, the public health system, social services, education systems, and many others key to maintaining day to day life in the U.S.
Our hope is to strengthen our clients' comfort and ability in these areas so that they are able to have control over their own lives and operate independently.
We hope you'll join us in welcoming New Americans and helping them acclimate to their new life by volunteering with US Together Cleveland!
We look forward to meeting you!
