Volunteers will assist our decor vendor with Forest of Stories setup; secure the area for safety, and politely engage and redirect customers who may be entering the decor area.  Staff will be present to provide direction and support.

First time volunteering for Douglas County Libraries? Please email Brenda MacIntosh to schedule a required new volunteer orientation before your first shift. 

Cancellation Policy: Please let us know right away if you need to cancel due to an emergency or illness. Due to the difficulty of securing last-minute volunteer help, Douglas County Libraries normally requests a minimum of 4 days notice if you are unable to attend.
