AgeCare is dedicated to creating vibrant communities that celebrate and support aging with dignity, independence and community interaction for seniors. If you have time to give and are interested in helping people live more enriched lives, we invite you to volunteer. You will have the opportunity to enjoy the rewards of learning new skills, being part of an interdisciplinary team, building new friendships, and sharing your skills and gifts to brighten someone’s day. Volunteers range from family members to community members to neighbours and seniors themselves. Residents welcome our volunteers’ effort and eagerness to be a part of their lives.
In-Person Opportunities (scroll down for detailed descriptions):
An onboarding process including an interview, orientation and training is mandatory of all volunteers. A vulnerable sector search is required for most volunteer roles. Please note that community locations may or may not have each of these roles available.
AgeCare's Volunteer Application is not for a practicum or work experience placement. Please contact the AgeCare Community directly to learn more about these type of experiences.
