We are looking for volunteers who are reliable and who can commit to an agreed shift each week. The ability to communicate effectively with people from different backgrounds and demonstrate a caring and compassionate nature are essential. Volunteers must be friendly, approachable and helpful with a positive, can-do attitude and whilst on duty, be proud Ambassadors for our Volunteer Service |

Volunteer support enhances our patients’ experience by being the friendly, non-clinical, face within the hospital. Being able to give patients time to talk, laugh and sometimes cry, during what can be a very challenging time in their life, can be fundamental to their wellbeing. Having volunteer support also enables staff to focus on clinical tasks, prioritise demands and make best use of their time so that they can deliver the very best patient care |
