Welcome to Bendigo Venues & Events - a business unit of the City of Greater Bendigo and responsible for the management of a suite of venues including Ulumbarra Theatre, The Capital Theatre, the Bendigo Town Hall, Dudley House and The Engine Room.
This Unit presents a broad range of community, state, national and international events including live theatre, dance, fine and contemporary music and other performing arts activities across a varied suite of venues.
BV&E’s venues have an equally busy commercial life through the hosting of weddings, conferences, seminars, celebrations, ceremonies, classes and community events and by offering professional theatres, fully supported ticketing and box office, first-class function facilities, exclusive catering, exhibition spaces and dedicated community access venues.

The Front of House Team:
The role of the Front of House team is to ensure the safe and effective operation of the venue during public events. This includes managing access and crowd flow, operating in accordance with policies, procedures and guidelines, responding to incidents, and supporting emergency procedures, while providing professional and courteous assistance to patrons.
