CMAT depends on contributors from all backgrounds. Whether you bring expertise in program development, grants and fundraising, logistics, public communications, social media and the web — or clinical care — there is a meaningful place for you at CMAT.
General Volunteers
You do not need a clinical background to get involved. CMAT actively seeks volunteers with skills in program development, grants and fundraising, logistics, public communications, social media, website management, governance, finance, education, and administrative support — as well as clinical care. Use the General Sign-Up form to tell us how you’d like to contribute.
Field Deployment Volunteers
CMAT field teams are composed of Canadian Registered Health Professionals and experienced non-health volunteers. To join our field teams, you will need:
- The ability to cope with stress and prioritize workload under pressure
- Professional and personal flexibility
- A willingness to work in unstable environments and harsh climates
- Relevant travel or work experience in a developing country or remote parts of Canada
- The ability to work as part of a multicultural, multidisciplinary team
All field volunteers must maintain current immunizations, a valid Canadian passport, a criminal record check, and relevant professional credentials. Use the Deployment Volunteer form to apply.
