Outreach and Education Team -
Outreach and Education volunteers represent YUWR in the community and help build awareness about urban wildlife, coexistence, and environmental stewardship. They support classroom visits, community events, and public presentations designed to inspire respect for local wildlife and habitats.
Responsibilities may include preparing materials, assisting with educational programs, staffing outreach tables, and engaging thoughtfully with members of the public. Volunteers must be comfortable handling animals of different species in educational settings, follow handling protocols carefully, and communicate clearly and confidently while representing the organization in a professional and approachable way.
