Volunteer purpose and impact
Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest is seeking an organized volunteer to help sort files in the case of an audit. LSS-SW provides necessary programs and services to our clients that are contracted through various major funders. Most of the contracts correspond to Refugee & Immigration Services, Aging & Disability Services, and occasionally Children & Family Services. Help LSS-SW maintain organization and legitimacy by sorting essential documents that will continue allowing us to assist our clients.
Responsibilities and key deliverables
- Creating, updating and organizing contract notebooks and files by funder
- Collating notebooks
- Filing miscellaneous paperwork
Qualifications
- Volunteer must be organized
- Volunteer must be detail oriented
- Volunteer must enjoy working in office setting
Working conditions
The volunteer will serve in a typical office with access to a desk and computer.
Clearances required & training
This role required a Verified Volunteer background check which costs $17. The volunteer is responsible for the cost. Further training with be provided by the onsite supervisor. Additionally, all LSS-SW volunteers are required to complete a free Central Registry background check at their volunteer orientation.
Location & timeframe
This volunteer role is project based and shifts are flexible however the volunteer must complete shifts during business hours.
