Volunteer purpose and impact
The purpose of the Fund Development Volunteer is to further our mission by ensuring in-kind donations are properly recorded, appreciated and that they reach communities in need. Additionally, the In-Kind Donations Volunteer will serve the department in other areas as needed.
Responsibilities and key deliverables
Assist Fund Development and Finance with processing in-kind donations
- Enter in-kind gifts and donor information into the donor date base (Virtuous)
- Estimate the value of donations
- Populate, stuff and mail thank you letters
- Assist Fund Development team with additional tasks as requested
Qualifications
Must have basic computer skills, be attentive to detail, and have a positive attitude!
Working conditions
Volunteer will be working in a typical office environment with access to a desk and computer.
Clearances required & training
Volunteers must complete a $17 Verified Volunteer background check. Volunteers are responsible for the cost. Training on Virtuous Fundraising Software will be completed with your supervisor.
