JFCS Immigration Legal Services
Pro Bono Family Attorney: An attorney licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, willing to accept a case pro bono, involving confirmation of Custody, Dependency or Guardianship as part of the requirements for the child to obtain immigration benefits.
Pro Bono Asylum Attorney: An attorney, licensed anywhere in the US who attended a training or who has experience with Asylum cases willing to take a case pro bono.
Pro Bono Immigration Attorney: An attorney, licensed to practice anywhere in the US who has attended a JFCS sponsored training or has immigration experience and is willing to take a pro bono case.
In-House Volunteer Attorney: An attorney looking for immigration experience and willing to assist staff on cases at JFCS.
Legal Intern: A student willing to volunteer at JFCS a minimum of 10 hours / week and assist staff with immigration cases.
Community Volunteer: A member of the local community who has attended a training (or is interested in doing so) and will help at a workshop to assist an immigrant family apply for either a green card or citizenship.
Office Work: Volunteers will assist staff with clerical tasks such as stuffing envelopes, making photocopies, scanning information into the computer, collating and compiling documents, or other assorted office clerical tasks.
