Art Assistant
Purpose: To assist Art classroom staff with requested tasks
Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist Art Teacher in the displaying of student’s artwork.

Assist Art Teacher with grade-level material preparation and other projects
-
Work under the direction of and in cooperation with the classroom teacher
-
Perform necessary task
-
Be aware of time frame
-
Always treat all situations with confidentiality
Time Commitment:
Fixed Hours: n/a
Flexible Hours: Teacher and the volunteer set up hours - generally average a couple of hours a month.
Expected Number of Volunteer Hours: 2-3 hours each month throughout school year

Willing to work under direct supervision of teacher and follow directions

Works well with staff and students

Ability to relate well to children

Has a strong commitment to be positive role model
