Georgia Hospice Care

The goal of the Indirect Support Volunteer is to support paid staff with duties that assist them in providing excellent care to hospice patients and families. By assisting with certain duties, volunteers free up paid staff so that they can spend more time coordinating care with members of the team and providing direct care to patients and families. In this role, volunteers will rarely interact with hospice patients and/or their families. If they do, it will be through phone contact.
