🌳 Become a Park Host with Park Spark! 🌟

Are you passionate about parks, community, and outdoor fun? Join the Park Spark team as a Park Host and help bring energy, fun, and purpose to your local green spaces!

As a Park Host, you may:

• Pop up at parks around the community alongside the Park Spark team
• Engage visitors through games, nature exploration, and hands-on activities
• Share information about park programs, events, and volunteer opportunities
• Help with Proud to Grow Here contest door hanger delivery near by parks and the neighbourhood
• Gain leadership and public engagement experience
• Receive training, Park Spark swag, and ongoing support

POP-UP SCHEDULE: 

We will be popping up at various parks throughout the City. See below for the location of each Park Host volunteer opportunity:

Proud to Grow Here POP-UPs:

 Town Centre Park Community Centre ( Meet inside by the TV)  Monday, Aug 17. 2:30pm-4:00pm

Coquitlam Farmers Market Community Booth ( Meet at the Dogwood Pavilion parking lot, find the Park Spark Booth ) Sunday, Aug 23, 10am-12pm

Door Hanger Delivery:

Como Lake Park ( Meet by Public Washroom) Monday, Aug 24. 9:30am-11:30am

Details: 

We will be outside in park and on our feet for an extended period of time. Please dress weather-appropriate and wear comfortable footwear.
