Park Spark - Parks Day at Mundy Park!
Celebrate Park Day at Mundy Park with the Park Spark Team!
Join us on Wednesday, July 22, 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., for Coquitlam’s annual celebration of parks, nature, and community! As a volunteer, you’ll help spread the word about Park Spark programs and initiatives by engaging with community members, playing games, and encouraging visitors to sign up for our programs and volunteer opportunities.

July 22: Event-Day Duties:
🌱 Engaging visitors, summer camp groups and more
🌱 Guiding visitors to the famous Tractor Dance ( 2 sessions )
🌱 Sharing Park Spark program, events and workshop details with residents and visitors
🌱 Promoting community pride in a fun and approachable way

Details:
At the start of your volunteer shift, please come to the Park Spark tent near the Mundy Park Field House. ( Coquitlam, BC V3J 6N8) We will send all volunteers a reminder email in advance, with exact meeting location.
Some activities involve painting. Please wear clothing that can get dirty. Please also dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes as we will be standing and walking around for most of the shift. Bring a water bottle, wear sunscreen and a hat or rain gear depending on the weather.
