Join the City of Coquitlam’s Park Spark team in bringing the magic of Lights at Lafarge to life! As a Light Brigade Light Host, you’ll help create a warm, fun, and memorable experience for visitors enjoying one of the region’s most popular winter attractions.

What You’ll Do

Light Hosts support Park Spark themed nights throughout the season. Your responsibilities may include:

• Greeting visitors and offering general information about Lights at Lafarge and Town Centre Park
• Answering questions and helping guests navigate the display
• Assisting with evening activities and themed-night programs
• Handing out items such as scavenger hunts, candy canes, or activity materials
• Encouraging participation in special themed nights (e.g., Carnival Night, Pirate Party, Jingle Bells Night)
• Helping with light activity setup and takedown as needed
• Creating a positive, friendly, and engaging environment for all visitors

Location: Town Centre Park Community Plaza

Parking: Lot D (off Trevor Wingrove Way).

Additional Notes

This is an outdoor volunteer role; please dress appropriately for winter conditions.

Volunteers of all experience levels are welcome—training is provided at the beginning of each shift.
