Share your knowledge, learn new skills, and give back to your community in a fun and meaningful way by becoming a member of the Youth Urban Garden Team! Being a member of the Youth Urban Garden Team will include various activities such as caring for and maintaining garden beds at the Inspiration Garden or other gardens, park cleanups, and assisting with planning other park enhancement opportunities for the Team. Becoming a Youth Urban Garden team member is an excellent opportunity to meet others with the same interests and get involved in your community. No previous experience is required, all skill levels are welcome.   

Qualifications:

Must be between the age of 13 and 17 years old

- Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn

- Friendly and able to work in a team environment

- Eager to get your hands dirty

- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
 

Training/Support:

Necessary gardening equipment will be provided. Orientation and training will be provided by the Park Spark Program Leader.

Location:

The Youth Urban Garden Team meets at the Inspiration Garden at Town Centre Park.  Corner of Guildford Wy and Pipeline Rd.
