Celebrate Earth Day at Como Lake Park with the Park Spark Team!

Join us in celebrating Earth Day with the Park Spark Team and help bring our community together to appreciate nature, sustainability, and local parks! As a volunteer, you’ll play a key role in engaging visitors, leading fun activities, and sharing information about Park Spark programs and initiatives. Whether you're chatting with community members, running games, or helping with event setup, you’ll be helping create a welcoming and memorable experience for all.

Duties include:

• Engaging visitors and school groups in games and interactive activities
• Sharing Park Spark program information with residents and visitors
• Encouraging sign-ups for programs and volunteer opportunities
• Supporting booth setup and/or cleanup
• Promoting environmental awareness and community pride in a fun, approachable way

• Location: Como Lake Park, south parking lot:

What to Bring & Wear

• Comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for standing and walking
• A reusable water bottle
• Weather-appropriate gear (we will be outside for the duration of the event)
