Celebrate Canada Day with the Park Spark Team! As a volunteer, you’ll help spread the word about Park Spark programs and initiatives by engaging with community members, playing games, and encouraging visitors to sign up for our programs and volunteer opportunities. 

Duties include: 
🌱  Engaging visitors in games and activities, handing out prizes
🌱  Sharing Park Spark details with residents and visitors
🌱  Setting up and/or cleaning up the booth
🌱  Promoting community pride in a fun and approachable way

Event Details:

There will be a Zoom meeting to review volunteer roles and responsibilities on Saturday June 28th in the afternoon. A link will be sent out a few days prior to those signed up for this volunteer activity.

At the start of your volunteer shift, please come to the EcoZone Park Spark tent. Please see the Canada Day Site Map (linked, and pasted below) for details. 

The Canada Day event runs from 12pm to 8pm. Shift times will include breaks.

Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes as we will be standing and walking around for most of the shift. Bring a water bottle, wear sunscreen and a hat or rain gear depending on the weather.
