Sally's Kitchen - Serving Line Attendant (Trays)
Daily meals are prepared and served Monday Tuesday & Thursday Friday (Except when federal Holidays are observed)
These meals are served between 11-1 PM (Volunteers are asked to arrive by 10:45 and stay until 1:15 to help with cleanup)
These meals are available to whosoever and seconds are available at any time. To-go trays are served and available the last 10 minutes of the serving time (12:50-1:00PM). ON average we serve 200-300 meals everyday. This is quite the undertaking and approximately 10 volunteers a day are needed to facilitate Sally's Kitchen for the homeless, fixed-income, and working poor. This program is important as we are the closest food source for a majority of the west side of Evansville.
