City of Burnaby - Recreation: Camps and Playgrounds

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us at Rosemary Brown Recreation Centre.

Camps run Monday - Friday from 9am-3:00pm daily. Please note we do not operate on statutory holidays.

Shift times: Monday to Friday 8:30am-3:30pm.

Roles:

• Help the Day Camp Leader set up and take down crafts and games.

• Greet children as they arrive at camp.

• Encourage and include all children who need help to participate in activities

• Help the leaders on out-trips and with other camp activities.

• Contribute to activity planning and evaluation by suggesting ideas for activities and giving feedback to the Camp Leader.

• Help get the camp from destination A to B by public transit and/or walking.

• Sign in and sign out so that your volunteer hours will be counted.

• Participate in volunteer performance evaluation.
